I have had no major problems. Strong engine. Have had it to 65 was still winding had a ways to go. I like the way it is set up. Runs great for me. Bored out, resleeved, bigger pistons, carbs rebuilt.
Hydraulic steering. Would like to see some more speed, but with current setup this boat has an incredible holeshot. This is a smooth riding boat. Rude Ram Propshaft is 1" below the pad. I'm trying to find a 26 or 27 Tempest to get the most out of my motor. The Tempest is one bad prop and I would recommend it to anyone wanting bow lift and all around performance. This boat is great. Gets a little loose at that speed but it handles good. Have Stan Slaon blacklights on it. Motor rebuild in Feb 06, motor is bored out, resleeved, bigger pistons, this motor will fly. Also Hambys beach bumper.

I really like the compartment space, it just seems to go on forever. At about mph she seems to crab walk a bit but lines out again about 65 mph. My only complaint is the insulation in the cooler could be better, but overall she is a great boat.

Storage is off the chart, very stable boat, runs great, 70 mph speed but that's good enough for me. I have an 8" but would have to put on new steering cables, any suggestions? It gets out of the hole like a champ, but way too slow at max throttle. Gel coat has stress fractures on rear port side; appears boat was hit while parked.
